EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Edwardsville Township has established and may establish various social media sites including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. The intent of these social media sites are to serve as a communications tool between the Township and the public. The Township personnel are the sole administrators of these social media sites. The policy includes Terms of Use, Prohibited Content, and Disclaimer.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP BY-LAWS AND PROCEDURES

The By-Laws define the primary characteristics of the Township board of Trustees. This includes how the Board should function and important rules that may not be changed without prior notice to board members, a formal vote and agreement by a majority of board members. By-Laws include expectations and guidelines for board members such as attendance and responsibilities.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP FOIA POLICY

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is designed to ensure that the public has access to information about their government and its decision-making process.

It is the policy of Edwardsville Township to permit access to as well as inspection and copying of public records in accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP ADA TRANSITION PLAN

The Township is committed to creating, maintaining, and promoting a working environment and a community where everyone has equal opportunity and where people’s diversity is positively valued.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP ADA GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE

This Grievance Procedure is established to meet the requirements of the American’s with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). It may be used by anyone who wishes to file a complaint alleging discrimination on the basis of a disability in the provision of services, activities, programs, or benefits by Edwardsville Township, Illinois. Edwardsville Township’s Personnel Policy governs employment-related complaints of disability discrimination.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP TREE DEDICATION POLICY

The Township accepts donations for dedication trees to be planted in Edwardsville Township Park in the parkways, median strips, public areas, and related parkland areas.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP PERSONNEL POLICY

The Personnel Policy Manual is a statement of policies and procedures to be followed by employees of Edwardsville Township and Edwardsville Township Road and Bridge.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP ACCOUNTS PAYABLE POLICY

In accordance with 60 ILCS 1/80-10, 80-15, the Township Board must examine and audit Township and Road District bills before they are paid.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP CAPITAL ASSET POLICY

Capital assets include property, plant, equipment, intangibles and infrastructure assets.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP CREDIT CARD POLICY AND PROCEDURES

Policy implemented to allow Township personnel access to efficient and alternative means of payment within specified guidelines for approved Township expenses.

EDWARDSVILLE FINANCIAL RESERVE POLICY

Edwardsville Township policy to maintain an unreserved fund balance.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP INVESTMENT POLICY

It is the policy of Edwardsville Township to invest public funds in a manner which will provide the highest investment return with the maximum security while meeting the daily cash flow demands of the Township and conforming to all State and Township ordinances governing the investment of public funds.

EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP PURCHASE POLICY

The purpose of this policy is to provide Edwardsville Township with guidelines and directions for the acquisition of goods and services.  When used with good judgement and common sense, the policies and procedures conveyed within will allow the Township to obtain required supplies and services efficiently and economically.
