Oct. 14, 2017
Edwardsville Township is pleased to present our 4th Annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, October 14th, from 10am-4pm, at Edwardsville Township Community Park, located at 6368 Center Grove Rd. in Edwardsville, Illinois.
This is a FREE community event that gives area families and children the opportunity to explore and learn about the various vehicles they see everyday and some that are rarely accessible. Last year the event hosted more than 30 vehicles of various purposes (fire trucks, farm equipment, utility, transit bus) and welcomed more than 6,000 guests! We are looking to continue to increase our turnout!
This year we are planning a children’s area featuring a balloon artist, face painting, and a variety of other activities. Food trucks will also be added during the event so mark your calendars!

Global Brew Beer & Chili Festival
October 15, 2016
The Global Brew Beer & Chili Festival is a community event that is taking place for the first time in Edwardsville Township Community Park. The plan for the event comes out of an idea for a fall festival fundraiser to raise money for MISSION PRESERVATION: The Campaign to Restore the Plane, that the Township has launched. The partnership between Global Brew and Edwardsville Township will assist in the fundraiser for the restoration for the U.S. Navy A-7E Corsair II located at the Edwardsville Township Community Park.
The event will include an area with local restaurants such as The Foundry and Cleveland Heath presenting their own chili recipes for the community to judge. As well, Global Brew will have all of their fall beers on tap with great live music to set the tone for the perfect day. The Township will be in charge of a children’s fall-themed activity area.
Come out and see us and experience all of the fun fall events going on at the Beer & Chili Festival!
