ET Excavator Bid

The Highway Commissioner of Edwardsville Township Road and Bridge District will receive sealed bids for a compact excavator until 9:45 a.m. CST, Thursday December  16,2021 at the office of The Edwardsville Township, 300 W Park Street, Edwardsville Illinois at which time all bids will be opened and read aloud. The bid packet can be picked at the below address, or is also available in the link above.

Update 5/17/21

SWEARING-IN CEREMONY LOCATION CHANGE – Due to inclement weather, Edwardsville Township’s swearing-in ceremony for newly elected board members and officers has been moved to the Glen Carbon Village Hall, 151 N. Main St., Glen Carbon, Illinois. The ceremony still is set to take place at 7 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2021.

Edwardsville Township’s swearing-in ceremony for newly elected board members and officers will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2021, under Pavilion #1 at Edwardsville Township Community Park, 6368 Center Grove Road, Edwardsville, Illinois, weather permitting.

Update 3/8/21

Edwardsville Township is partnering with Madison County to help residents in two ways. Some information is provided below, but check here for additional information.

Update 2/19/2021

Attention: After being closed for inclement weather conditions, the Township Community Park is open again to the public. As a reminder, most of the pavilions at the park are available for rental purposes except for pavilion #6 which is currently undergoing repairs.

Attention: The Township Community Park is closed today, 2/17/2021, for inclement weather conditions. More information will be posted as weather conditions improve.

ATTENTION: Until further notice, all restrooms/comfort stations at Edwardsville Township Community Park are temporarily closed. We apologize for any inconvenience this creates. When restrooms/comfort stations are open again, Edwardsville Township will post this news on the website and Facebook.

Update 2/2/2021

ATTENTION: AS OF FEBRUARY 1, 2021, EDWARDSVILLE TOWNSHIP OFFICES ARE NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

As we have recently moved to Tier 2 of the Restore Illinois Plan, the Township’s doors are open. Masks must be worn at all times while inside the building and social distancing will be enforced. Thank you for your cooperation.

Update 1/21/2021

The Township Officials of Illinois is awarding seven- $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors to help pay for college. The application deadline is March 1st, 2021, and all applicants should expect to receive written notification of a decision after April 1, 2021. All scholarship applications and supporting materials should be physically mailed to the address included in the TOI scholarship packet (see application link at the end of this paragraph). Faxed or emailed applications will not be accepted. All scholarship awards are disbursed directly to the award recipient’s school and must be used for the 2021-2022 academic year. Trees should be placed in the lower lot, on the left side of the dumpster.

There is signage indicating the actual place to leave the trees. The tree must be plain with no lights, ornaments, and decorations.
