General Information
BE SURE TO STOP BY TOWNSHIP HALL FOR A NEW RENTAL APPLICATION OR PRINT A COPY FROM THE LINK BELOW.
Here you will find all the information needed to make any type of reservation at Township Park. We offer reservations for park pavilions, fun kits, tennis courts, the skating rink, and the soccer field. You will also find the special event permit and fee waiver forms here as well.
Reservations for the Edwardsville Township Community Park can be made online or by visiting Edwardsville Township Office located at 300 West Park Street Edwardsville, IL 62025.
**Please note that weekend reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Pavilion Reservations
Edwardsville Township provides exclusive use for all pavilions at Township Park. All pavilion renters must be at least 21 years of age or older with a valid photo ID. Reservations are made in person at the Township Office or online by interested parties. *For any reservations that will have more than 75 guests, a special event permit is required (see below). The following are the only forms of payments accepted: PAYPAL or CREDIT CARD (with a $2 processing fee for cards). *Pavilions will close 1 hour prior to the park closing time to allow for cleaning. All debris and personal effects must be removed at that time. Grills must be extinguished 1 hour prior to closing as well.
For residents, organizations or businesses within Edwardsville Township only. Residency must be verified at the time of rental and may be determined by one of the following methods:

- voter registration card identifying registered voter of Edwardsville Township

- a current utility bill in resident’s name with current utility service address within Edwardsville Township and a current government-issued photo ID
- Proof of liability insurance maybe required for certain events
Our ADA Compliant Pavilions include Pavilions #1,2,4, and 6.
Special Events
A special event permit will be required for any activity with seventy-five (75) guests or more in attendance regardless of the facilities used AND must be submitted to Edwardsville Township ninety (90) days prior. There is a non-refundable fee of $50 for all special event permits; however, if the permit is denied, the $50 will be returned.
Please also attach a copy of Insurance for any Profit / Non Profit Organisation.

School Use Notification
The notification of school use form is to be completed and returned to the Edwardsville Township office. This notification will allow us to schedule maintenance at the Edwardsville Township Community Park to not interfere with your school activity. This procedure does not give you exclusive use of the park and is not considered a reservation. Edwardsville Township Community Park is a shared-use facility.

Summer Hours: 8 a.m.- 8:30 p.m. – June 7, 2026 – September 6, 2026
Fall Hours: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. – September 7, 2026 – October 31, 2026
Winter Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – November 1, 2026 – March 13, 2027

Refunds:
RENTAL CERTIFICATES OF EQUAL VALUE WILL BE ISSUED IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER AND/OR CANCELLATION OF EVENT (4) WEEKS IN ADVANCE.
Fun Kits
Edwardsville Township offers four (4) different “Fun Kits” for free to use for paid pavilion reservation holders.
*If the Fun Kit is missing pieces, damaged beyond normal wear, or returned late, a $50 fee replacement fee will be imposed to the reservation holder. Fun Kit rentals are for one (1) day only.
Fun kits may be picked up after 8:30 am on the day of the rental at the Township Park employee shed.
Fun kits must be returned to the Township Park employee shed at the end of the event.

Tennis Court Reservations
Edwardsville Township provides exclusive use of three tennis courts at Township Park. Reservations are made in person at the Township office by interested parties. Please keep in mind that the Township office only accepts CREDIT CARDS OR PAYPAL at this time and exact change is required. Fees for reserving the tennis courts are as follows:
Township Resident Fees: Tennis courts #2, 3 & 4 are $10 for one (1) hour per court, $5 for each additional hour, with a four (4) hour maximum.
Non-Resident Fees: Tennis courts #2, 3 & 4 are $15 for one (1) hour per court, $7 for each additional hour, with a four (4) hour maximum.

Soccer Field Reservations
Edwardsville Township provides exclusive use of one soccer field at Township Park. Reservations are made in person at the Township office by interested parties. Please keep in mind that the Township office only accepts CREDIT CARDS OR PAYPAL at this time and exact change is required. Fees for reserving the soccer field are as follows:
Township Resident Fees: $10 for one (1) hour, $5 for each additional hour, with a four (4) hour maximum.
Non-Resident Fees: $15 for one (1) hour, $7 for each additional hour, with a four (4) hour maximum.

Edwardsville Township provides exclusive use of its skating rink at Township Park. Reservations are made in person at the Township Office by interested parties. Please keep in mind that the Township office only accepts CREDIT CARDS OR PAYPAL at this time and exact change is required. Fees for reserving the skating rink are as follows:
Township Resident Fees: $10 for one (1) hour, $5 for each additional hour, with a four (4) hour maximum.
