Kevin Hall, a resident of Edwardsville, was elected to the Edwardsville Township Board of Trustees in April to serve his first term as trustee, which will extend through to 2021. Mr. Hall chose to run for the position of board trustee due to his desire to give back and help the Edwardsville community. Of the position he said, “I felt serving the people as trustee was an opportunity I could not pass up.” In addition to his elected position on the board, Mr. Hall is currently involved with the St. Louis Sports Commission, the St. Louis Illini Alumni Club, where he serves as co-president, and he is a regular donor to the American Red Cross, having given over 50 units of blood.
Mr. Hall has a strong background in both technology and marketing. His current position is in Information Technology with the Madison County Circuit Clerk. Mr. Hall also has previous experience in marketing and sales with First to the Finish, New Balance, Athletic DNA, and for the Peoria Chiefs Baseball organization.
Causes that hold a lot of meaning for Mr. Hall include youth in sports and serving underprivileged youth within the community. Mr. Hall is a graduate of the University of Illinois where he obtained both his Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism and his Master’s Degree in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism Management.
He and his wife, Dr. Kellie Hall, have been married since October 2016. They have two sons, Leland born in January 2019 and Calvin born in October 2020. Kellie is a veterinarian so their house is full with two dogs and one cat.
